Markey 5.3 Release Notes

The latest and greatest set of code for Markey Digital Signage is now live! Check out the items that were updated with this latest release here and stay tuned for even more updates and functionality soon!

• Added the ability to select and delete multiple items in the Region Drawer’s Timeline
  • You no longer will need to go into each slide in order to delete multiple items from each Region. Now, just click the checkbox within any of the thumbnails to begin the process. Then click on any additional slides you also want removed. Then, simply click “Delete Slides” and they’re gone!
• Tweaked Image Blur scaling properties to help Images fill Regions more reliably when enabled.
• Added communication preference options!

  • To set your preferences, navigate to your Dashboard via the account menu in the upper right and then edit your Profile Details. If you’re logged into your Markey account, click here to go directly to your Dashboard.

• Front end updates:
  • Update all color styles to CSS custom properties
  • Refactored additional elements into new front-end framework components
• Created an APK link for the production version of the Android app to download on Shield TV devices and other Android TV devices
  • You can now sideload MarkeyDS on any Android TV device by downloading and installing this APK: https://markeyds.com/app/app.apk — More info and a “How To” article coming soon!
